About the game
Duck & Cover is a goofy 20-minute game about keeping your bathtub as dry as possible. Across three rounds, you shuffle your duck cards around a shared grid, either moving your ducks to safety or covering opposing ducks with your own. Simultaneous action selection keeps everyone engaged at once, and layering cards changes the board state quickly. Whoever ends with the lowest water-related score wins. It's a light, silly filler with an absurd duck-bathtub theme for the whole family.
Hobbli's Notes
Duck & Cover leans fully into its silly premise, and Hobbli's team thinks that's exactly the point: this is a quick, goofy filler rather than a deep strategy game. The layering and covering mechanics give it a bit more bite than a typical light party game, but it's still approachable for kids and casual players alike. Three short rounds keep sessions snappy. It's a fun palate cleanser between heavier games.
