About the game

Horseless Carriage puts three to five players in charge of early automobile companies during the dawn of the car industry, when no one yet knew which features, steering wheels, pedals, brakes, would define the new machine. Through commodity speculation, tile placement, and tech-tree progression, players expand factories and chase the features that will win over customers. Modular boards and tech tracks let companies specialize in different directions each game. It's a dense industrial-era euro about invention and market timing.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's editors find the theme of stumbling toward automotive standards genuinely charming and well-integrated into the mechanics. As with other Doumen and Wiersinga designs, expect a heavy rules load and long playtime that rewards patient planning. It's a newer release, so long-term staying power is still being proven by the community. Recommended for groups who already love dense industrial euros.
