About the game
Welcome to the Moon expands on the beloved flip-and-write formula of Welcome To... with an eight-part campaign that takes players from Earth's neighborhoods to full space colonization. Each turn you flip cards from three stacks to reveal a number-and-action combination, then choose one to mark on your personal sheet while racing to complete shared missions. Each of the eight adventure sheets introduces distinct new mechanisms, and choices made along the way shape how the campaign unfolds.
Hobbli's Notes
This is a clever evolution of an already excellent series, using the campaign structure to keep introducing fresh twists rather than repeating the same puzzle. It's a great pick for fans of the original who want more variety, and it still supports huge groups playing simultaneously.
What we like
- Eight varied adventure sheets each introduce new mechanisms.
- Branching campaign choices meaningfully affect future sessions.
- Supports very large groups playing simultaneously.
- Low rules overhead while offering good strategic depth.
Keep in mind
- Campaign sheets are consumed, limiting long-term replay of that content.
- Some adventures may appeal more than others.
- Ongoing cost of sheets adds up over repeated campaigns.
Who it's for
Great for fans of flip-and-write games and campaign play, ages 10 and up, supporting large groups of up to six as well as solo players.
