About the game

Fruit Fight is a fast, push-your-luck card game from designer Reiner Knizia, also released under the names No Mercy and HIT! On your turn, you flip a card and can steal matching numbered cards from other players' tableaus, tempting you to keep drawing for bigger gains. Draw a number you already hold with three or more cards in front of you, though, and you lose everything you've collected that turn. It's a tense, quick-fire game of nerve and greed that plays in about 20 minutes. Simple to teach and endlessly replayable, it's a perfect light filler for any game night.

Hobbli's Notes

We love how Fruit Fight distills push-your-luck tension into its purest form: every draw is a gamble between greed and caution. Reiner Knizia's knack for elegant, minimal rules shines through in this quick, punchy filler. It's an easy sell to non-gamers thanks to its short playtime and instant rules. A reliable choice whenever you need a fast, high-tension game to open or close an evening.
