About the game

Curious Cargo is a tense two-player logistics duel where you build conveyor-belt networks to ship colorful cargo tokens while sabotaging your opponent's supply lines. Connect shipping and receiving spaces with interlocking tile pathways, timing truck calls to maximize your deliveries. With six unique player boards and two difficulty modes, it offers a puzzling, head-to-head challenge from designer Ryan Courtney, creator of Pipeline. Precise timing and route planning are the keys to victory.

Hobbli's Notes

Fans of Pipeline's industrial puzzle-solving will find a lot to love in this tighter, faster two-player-only take on the formula. The interference mechanic, sending cargo to disrupt your opponent's routes, adds a satisfying edge of direct confrontation missing from purely solitaire-feeling route builders. Because it's strictly two-player, it won't work for larger group nights, but it shines as a focused duel.

What we like

  • Tight two-player design ensures constant meaningful interaction.
  • Six unique player boards and dual game modes add strong replayability.
  • Direct sabotage mechanic keeps both players engaged throughout.
  • Satisfying puzzle of network-building and timing.

Keep in mind

  • Strictly limited to two players, so it won't suit larger groups.
