About the game

Skulls of Sedlec is a quick card-drafting game set in the famous bone church, where players act as novice monks arranging exhumed skulls into the most artful stack. Dig up graves to reveal cards, draft skulls into your hand, and carefully order them for the best final arrangement. Whoever best honors the deceased's wishes, as judged by the Bone Collector, scores the most points. It's a compact, elegant filler with a delightfully macabre theme.

Hobbli's Notes

Skulls of Sedlec packs a surprisingly tight drafting-and-ordering puzzle into a tiny card format - a great example of doing more with less. The macabre ossuary theme gives it real character for such a small game. A perfect pocket-sized pickup for fans of clever, quick filler games.

What we like

  • Very quick 20-minute playtime fits easily into any game night.
  • Clever card ordering and drafting puzzle for such a small game.
  • Unique macabre theme sets it apart from typical fillers.
  • Small print-and-play format is easy to carry anywhere.

Keep in mind

  • Limited to 2-3 players, restricting group size.
  • As a niche print-and-play release, components and availability may be limited.
