About the game

Top Ten is a cooperative party game where one player becomes the chief and reads a wild prompt, like ranking sidekicks from worst to best. Each player secretly holds a number from 1 to 10 and must give an answer that matches how good or bad their number suggests it should be. The chief then tries to sort every answer from worst to best, and mistakes flip unicorn tokens to their poop side. Survive five rounds without losing all the unicorns and the whole table wins together.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's editorial team finds Top Ten shines because it turns judgment and creative answers into the whole game, rather than hiding them behind complex rules. The cooperative structure keeps the table on the same side, so laughs come without lingering resentment. It scales unusually well from four up to nine players, which is a real asset for bigger gatherings. It's light on strategy, but that's exactly the point for this kind of party pick.

What we like

  • Extremely easy rules make it accessible to any group instantly.
  • Cooperative format means the whole table wins or loses together.
  • Scales well from four to nine players without losing its charm.
  • Absurd prompts consistently generate memorable, funny answers.

Keep in mind

  • Success depends heavily on the chief's subjective judgment calls.
  • Random card draws can make some rounds much harder than others.
  • Offers little for players seeking deeper strategic decisions.

Who it's for

Great for teens and adults (14+) in larger groups of 4-9 looking for a quick, silly, cooperative party game.
