About the game

Crypt is a small-box set-collection game built around a unique dice-placement mechanic for 1 to 4 players. Each round, you place your servant dice onto treasure cards at a value of your choosing, where higher values ward off rivals but risk your servant becoming exhausted when everyone rolls. Successfully collected treasure sets can be pawned off to collectors for bonus coins and special powers, and the player with the most valuable collection at the end wins. Despite its compact size, the game layers push-your-luck tension with light set collection and a variable setup for replayability. It plays quickly, making it a great choice for a fast game night session.

Hobbli's Notes

Crypt punches above its small-box weight, combining dice placement with genuine push-your-luck tension in a tight, quick package. The risk of losing exhausted dice to rivals adds a layer of bluffing and calculated risk that keeps every round interesting. Its solo mode is a nice bonus for a game this size, and the variable set-up helps keep repeat plays fresh. A great pick for fans of small, clever push-your-luck designs looking for something quick but not mindless.
