About the game
Ganymede is a card-drafting and tableau-building game where players run corporations racing to colonize the solar system. You recruit settlers on Earth, ferry them by shuttle to Mars, and finally launch them from Ganymede's spaceport. The game ends the moment a player launches their fourth settler ship, with victory points coming from launched ships and a reputation track. It's a tight, efficient pipeline game with a satisfying sci-fi colonization theme.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team likes Ganymede's efficient pick-up-and-deliver pipeline, moving settlers step by step from Earth to deep space. Card drafting keeps turns snappy, and the reputation track gives a nice secondary path to points. It's a fairly under-the-radar title, so our comparisons to similar drafting and engine-building games come with some uncertainty.
