About the game
Space Park sends players on a rocket-hopping journey across the galaxy to gather exotic crystals and complete exploration badges at the mysterious Outpost 13. A modular board of seven destinations rotates as rockets move to the next open stop, letting players choose which action-rich location to travel to next. Actions include collecting crystals, acquiring badges, cashing in for Explorer Points, or using a helper robot named Scout. With drafting, set collection, and a rondel-like movement structure, it supports 1-4 players including full solo play.
Hobbli's Notes
Space Park's rotating rondel-of-destinations creates a lovely rhythm where you're always planning two or three moves ahead. It's light enough to teach quickly but has enough badge-crystal interplay to reward planning. The solo mode is a nice bonus for a game this approachable, making it a flexible pick for any group size.
What we like
- Rotating destination rondel creates satisfying forward planning.
- Fully supports solo play alongside 2-4 player modes.
- Quick 30-minute playtime with meaningful decisions.
- Charming space-exploration theme with varied action types.
Keep in mind
- Modular board randomness can make some games more favorable than others.
- Light overall complexity may not satisfy heavier strategy gamers.
Who it's for
Great for 1-4 players aged 14+ who enjoy light-to-medium strategy games with set collection and route planning.
