About the game
When I Dream is a real-time party game in which one player, the Dreamer, wears a sleep mask and tries to guess the elements of their own dream. Good and naughty spirits give one-word clues, competing to steer the dream in their favor, while trickster spirits secretly switch sides. After the 120-second round, the Dreamer must story-tell their dream aloud using the words they guessed, earning bonus points for a good tale.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli thinks the blindfolded-dreamer concept is a genuinely creative twist on party clue-giving games, and the storytelling finale adds a lot of memorable, silly fun.
What we like
- Creative, unique blindfolded-dreamer concept.
- Scales well to large groups of up to 10 players.
- Low downtime for a real-time party game.
- Storytelling finale adds memorable, creative fun.
Keep in mind
- Real-time communication limits can confuse new players at first.
- Success depends partly on clue-giving skill, which varies by player.
- Offers limited strategic depth for serious gamers.
Who it's for
Great for larger party groups of 4-10, ages 8+, families and gatherings who enjoy social deduction and storytelling.
