About the game

Dimension is a fast-paced, real-time puzzle game played with 60 colorful spheres that players stack and arrange according to task cards laid out each round. The challenges dictate specific placement rules, certain colors can't touch, others must, and everyone races simultaneously to fulfill as many conditions as possible before time runs out. Points are earned for each sphere correctly placed, with bonuses for using all five colors, but incorrect placements cost points. It's a three-dimensional spatial puzzle designed to reward quick thinking under pressure.

Hobbli's Notes

The simultaneous real-time stacking creates a fun, slightly frantic energy that's rare in pure puzzle games. Its short 30-minute playtime and simple task-card structure make it an easy pick-up-and-play title for mixed groups. It's more about quick spatial reflexes than deep strategy, so it works best as a light filler rather than a main event.

What we like

  • The real-time, simultaneous play keeps everyone engaged with no downtime.
  • The tactile sphere-stacking components add a satisfying physical dimension.
  • Short rounds make it easy to fit into a filler slot in game night.
  • It's simple enough to teach to younger players quickly.

Keep in mind

  • The real-time pressure can be stressful for players who prefer a slower pace.
  • Limited strategic depth means it may not hold up for dedicated strategy gamers.
  • Physical dexterity and quick sight-reading matter more than tactical planning.

Who it's for

Families and casual groups aged 6+ who enjoy fast, real-time spatial puzzles, playable solo or with up to 4 players.
