About the game

Bridge is the legendary trick-taking card game for two partnerships of two, built around a bidding auction where partners communicate hand strength before playing out the contract. One partner's hand becomes the face-up 'dummy' while the other plays both hands to try to fulfill the bid. Defenders, meanwhile, work to stop the contract from succeeding. With roots dating to 1925's Contract Bridge and centuries of competitive play, it remains one of the deepest partnership card games ever devised.
