About the game

Horus Heresy recreates the legendary battle for Terra from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, pitting two players against each other as loyalist Space Marines or traitorous Chaos Space Marines. Featuring over one hundred sculpted plastic miniatures and a striking three-dimensional map of Terra, the game uses an order-and-initiative system alongside card-driven combat that lets players allocate resources between attack and defense. Six scenarios of varying difficulty recreate different moments of the climactic siege, from the Imperial Palace to Horus's flagship. It's a large-scale, deeply thematic two-player wargame built for fans of the Warhammer 40k lore.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a heavy, tactile centerpiece game for Warhammer 40k devotees: the miniatures and 3D terrain are genuinely impressive on the table. It demands a serious time and rules investment, so it rewards a committed pair of players far more than a casual group looking for a quick match.
