About the game

Trekking the World invites 2-5 players to race across the globe, visiting 48 real-world destinations and collecting rare souvenirs along the way. Players build a bucket list of locations, drafting cards and moving across the map to reach their chosen sights before rivals beat them there. Each destination comes with an educational passage, blending light strategy with genuine geographic learning. It's designed to work equally well for seasoned gamers and newcomers sharing the same table.

Hobbli's Notes

A lovely gateway game that sneaks real educational content into a light drafting-and-racing structure. Great for mixed groups of gamers and non-gamers, especially families.

What we like

  • Genuine educational content about real-world destinations.
  • Very accessible for non-gamers and mixed-experience groups.
  • Light strategic layer via drafting and route planning.
  • Attractive illustrations bring destinations to life.

Keep in mind

  • Limited depth for experienced strategy gamers.
  • Card draws introduce a fair amount of luck.
  • Can feel repetitive across many plays.
