About the game
Love Letter is a quick, tense deduction game in which players try to get their letter of intent into the hands of the Princess while deducing and outmaneuvering their opponents. With just sixteen cards, each with a unique power, a single round takes only a few minutes, and the tension is entirely in reading your opponents and playing your one card wisely. This edition adds new characters and artwork for games up to six players. Its tiny footprint makes it perfect for travel and quick sessions.
Hobbli's Notes
Proof that great game design doesn't need many components: Love Letter remains one of the sharpest, most portable deduction games ever made. It's a perfect filler between heavier games or a fun icebreaker for new groups.
What we like
- Extremely quick to teach and play.
- Tiny, travel-friendly footprint.
- Surprising depth of deduction and bluffing for such a small game.
- Highly replayable due to short round length.
Keep in mind
- Individual rounds can be decided by luck of the draw.
- Limited long-term strategic depth compared to bigger games.
- Best enjoyed in short bursts rather than as a main event.
Who it's for
