About the game

Majesty: For the Realm challenges two to four players to build the richest medieval kingdom by recruiting characters who generate gold through their jobs. Each round, players draft cards representing millers, nobles, and other subjects whose combined abilities create powerful synergies. Some characters strengthen your economy while others weaken your rivals, giving every drafting decision real weight. Victory points can be earned directly from certain characters, adding an extra layer of tension to the drafting. It's a fast, clever card game of building the strongest court in the land.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's team enjoys Majesty as a snappy, well-designed drafting game from the mind behind Splendor. The interplay between characters who help your own kingdom and those who hinder rivals gives it more bite than many light card games. It plays quickly enough for a weeknight but offers enough combo potential to reward repeat plays. A great gateway game for groups easing into strategic card drafting.

What we like

  • Quick, engaging drafting decisions each round.
  • Easy rules that are simple to teach.
  • Charming medieval theme with characterful cards.
  • Good replayability through varied character combos.

Keep in mind
