About the game

Timeline: Events is a quick card game of historical knowledge and educated guessing. Each of the 55 cards shows a historical event, with its exact year hidden on one side. Players take turns placing a card into a growing timeline, then flip it to see if they guessed its chronological position correctly: a wrong guess costs you an extra card instead. The first player to place all their cards correctly wins the round. Its simple rules and quick 15-minute playtime make it an ideal light game for families, trivia fans, or as a filler between heavier titles. It can also be combined with other entries in the Timeline series for even more variety.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's team loves Timeline: Events as an easy way to spark conversation about history while playing: even wrong guesses often lead to fun 'wait, that happened when?' moments. It's simple enough for kids and casual players but still gives history buffs a chance to show off. The combinable nature of the Timeline series means you can mix and match themes for endless replayability. It's a great pocket-sized pick for game nights, trivia lovers, or travel.
