About the game

League of Six casts players as ambitious young tax collectors in 1430s Lusatia, competing to bring in the most revenue for King Sigismund while winning favor with the region's estates. Over six rounds representing six years, players visit one of six member cities of the League, collecting goods through auction and bidding to fill the royal and estate stores. Pick-up-and-deliver route decisions determine how efficiently you can gather and transport goods across the map. The tax collector who earns the greatest influence at court by game's end secures a coveted place beside the king.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a historically flavored economic Euro from designer Vladimír Suchý, whose later, more famous works show the same knack for tight resource-optimization puzzles. The auction-driven goods collection paired with pick-up-and-deliver routes creates satisfying tension, though the long runtime and heavy downtime place real demands on the table. It's a game best suited to a patient group already comfortable with dense economic design.
