About the game
Galileo Galilei is a Euro-style rondel game in which players take on the role of astronomers during the age of scientific awakening. Using a telescope to select actions on a rondel, you discover new planets and star systems, collect colored lenses to fund discoveries, and navigate the risk of inquisitors threatening your reputation. Variable set-up and an evolving action wheel keep each game distinct.
Hobbli's Notes
An engaging rondel-based action-selection game with a nice sense of scientific progression. The Inquisition mechanic adds welcome thematic tension to what could otherwise be a dry point-scoring engine.
