About the game
In this EXIT: The Game + Puzzle installment, players race through a jungle temple on a small Indian Ocean island, solving riddles hidden within riddles to save a professor from rival treasure hunters. Unlike a typical EXIT box, this one has no board and no cards: instead, teams assemble four physical jigsaw puzzles piece by piece, with each completed image revealing clues about what to find next. A decoder disk and mysterious in-game items help crack each puzzle's riddles along the way. It's a fully cooperative escape-room experience rated a moderate difficulty of 3 out of 5.
Hobbli's Notes
The puzzle-within-a-puzzle format is a genuinely fresh twist on the EXIT formula, giving you something tactile to build as you solve. A great choice for groups who've enjoyed EXIT before and want a new format, though like all EXIT games it's one-and-done.
What we like
- Inventive puzzle-within-puzzle format using assembled jigsaw sections.
- Fully cooperative and accessible to newcomers.
- Immersive jungle-temple theme throughout.
- Single-use format keeps tension high with no repeat plays.
Keep in mind
- One-time play only, with no board or replayability after solving.
- Difficulty level may frustrate less experienced puzzlers.
- Requires careful handling of physical puzzle pieces and clues.
Who it's for
Great for cooperative groups aged 10+, including families and team-building events, looking for a single hands-on puzzle experience.
